The finished shop

The windows with the name of the shop "cykla-T-mera" (means "ride your bikes more"  and "T" is the first letter of  DH's name) painted on the glass in a semi gloss black paint.

All in all it took me about three months of evenings and other odd spells of time to complete this project.  I built all the shop fittings myself to fit what I wanted to get out from them.
Lori, a friend I met via the Stay at Home Miniaturists club got me started thinking about this project when she sent me the first set of bikes and I found other bikes and parts  on Ebay and then Tanis at Tadpoles helped me with the helmets that are in the boxes, the pink bike showing in the left window as well as bits and parts that came in handy.

I also got a lot of inspiration from the "Cykelcity" website http://www.cykelcity.se/  which I am grateful of. My FIL helped me out with taking apart  some of the bikes so that I could use the frames as components on one of the walls, the forks and handlebars on an other and then some of the spare parts went into the counter etc.

Saying DH was surprised is an understatement...
